Another Day, Another Sketch
What we have here, is a design for Adam’s dad, a drawing of The Announcer, a couple experiments with smaller character designs to see what clearly shows up on screen and what doesn’t, and at bottom right, a couple of characters that’ll be making appearances in the new comics (one of which will hopefully be coming out next week.)
That’s right, I plan on producing a new comic next week. Hopefully it’ll be appearing on wednesday.

Good sketches. The announcer and Adam’s dad both look really good. I was especially drawn to the sketch of Adam on the top right. The detail in the art is astounding as usual, but I thought that it added some much-needed variety to the facial expressions, which I guess is one of those things that you don’t realize is missing until it’s there.
But I agree with everyone from last week, the art is looking better than ever. Can’t wait for the strip.

Looks great Jim, though the shirtless guys are a little freaky.
New comic? Can’t wait, which I guess is dumb to say cuz I don’t really have a choice.

The right view is great but it would be cool to see all sides of the face. I know this is not trivial but showing characters in multiple directions gives the impression of life. I have always loved your crisp and clean lined clothing but the human face needs to be more organic. The unique thing of JP&TM was the contrast of organic human crossed with a ridged mechanical part.
Glad to see you back,

I really dig looking at your sketches, anticipating JP&TM return in strip form.

Welcome back, Jim! It’s has indeed been a while. Nice sketches. Love the one of Fred in white sillouette against the black background.

Hey, thanks for the feedback guys. I like to think that the artwork is really starting to come along…
Now if only I can make the same advances (or more) with the writing.
