Back in Action, but no action.
Alright, I’m hopefully back on track now.
A little plot rehashing for everyone, since it’s been a week, but I’ll do it in bullet points:
- Johnny Sanderson goes to school.
- The Monkey hijacks a pizza delivery.
- Johnny is reporting on the scene, and starts to set up the kids to do a reenactment.
That’s about it up to this point.

Nice strip! I dig the layout of it. Funny too. I’m the first one to comment on this. HOw can this be?

Very nicely done. As always the art is outstanding, but the subtle humor of the last bit of dialog just keeps resounding in my head. It’s 2:45 my time, and only Scott beat me to the comment. Did you piss off everyone else with the lack of strips? Don’t worry, I’m sure they will be back. The American public has a very short memory.
The layout of the strip…Is it “Zuda” submission time?

Thanks guys… I don’t imagine anyone is that irritated at the lack of new material last week… It might just be one of those days.
As for Zuda… I don’t think I’m going to submit. I haven’t even read through the deal yet thought. I’d rather wait and see how the whole thing pans out for a while, but I don’t think that sort of deal is right for me.

It’s Johnny! Of course because of that I like it but I don’t get the space between the speakers in panel 1 and their respective word balloons. The insurance guy is right on.

I made an anoouncement on my site last week that you had retired…was that wrong?

I did reed through the Zuda deal, and I think it is geared more towards an extended story line/super hero type strip that could turn into books/action figures/movie deal sort of thing.

Why do young kids want to get paid for everything they do? Mine don’t even understand money yet, and they want to get paid!
Nice work, Jim. Liked the little trick with the asterix - even though I knew what a monkey fulcrum was, I still just had to look! What a curious thing is the human mind.
