Back on Track.
Ok, I’m kinda tired while posting, so I’m afraid this post might not have much snap to it. Regardless, just giving everyone a little update on what’s going on with Jetpacks and Time Machines. I’ve been very busy this past week at work, but now I’m hopefully going to be back on track posting comics.
Also, there are going to be some changes going on around here in the next couple months. First off, I’ve decided I’m no longer going to be making all my comics the same format. I’m going to continue posting plenty of comics in the larger “double size” that I’ve been using lately, but I think I’m going to try posting more smaller comics too (the standard comic strip size.) I’m thinking that any time I post smaller comics, I’m going to post three comics a week (the additional day will be wednesday.) I’m going to rotate formats for a couple reasons… for one thing, I don’t want to get in the habit of only pacing lengthier jokes, and for another, I’m debating another run at syndication eventually. I don’t know if I’ll go through with it or not, but I’m all about leaving my options open at this stage in the game.
In other news, thanks to everyone who’s given feedback on my blog posts with my comics, especially in regards to the explanations. That being said, I’m going to apply a belt sander to the face of the next person that comments on “explaining the joke.” I’m not kidding. I’ll 150 grit your freakin’ face off. I’ve already made up my mind about what I’m going to do there (you’ll have to see what I do on tuesday), and I really don’t want to hear any more about it. Thanks to everyone who weighed in, now please drop the subject. Anyone who wants to tell people what to do should drop by the panel mammals and bug jarrett. Also, check out that second panel in the saga (it’s mine of course.)

Go with whatever suits you and the strip best. You are posting on the web, so don’t get stuck because you feel you need to stick to a format unless you want to have strips for submission to syndicates. We (the fans) will not stop reading if your strip change sizes.
I like the explaining of the strip, mabe not the explaining of the joke.
P.S. I like 80 grit.

That’s cool you’re thinking about syndication. Good to keep that door open. Like TPOM, this strip is going to be great no matter what size it is. And you can still go for that Zuda contract too. It’s Tierney on all fronts.

I WILL TAKE OVER INTERNET! or something… that involves making jokes accompanied by humorous drawings.
