Getting Near That Time of Year
This is a first for me… The first seasonal comic I’ve ever done… and it’s going to be a bit of a story line. Man, if I didn’t know any better, I might think JP&TM was turning into a serial comic strip!
If you want to jump to the beginning of this story, go here. (it was only a week ago.)
My attention span is a little short for too much of that kind of thing though. (Not that I don’t mind the occasional story line.)
Also, a big thanks to my fellow panel mammal Scott Metzger of Stewart, for pointing out that last friday’s comic strip had a typo in it… Even if he did point it out three days late. (where were the rest of you guys?)

I like everything about this strip, but I have to question Adam’s facial expression in the second panel. Shouldn’t he be a bit more excitable looking? He just looks a little calm for the way he is speaking.

Cool how the human kid has all sorts of schematics and such on his walls, and the cyborg doesn’t appear to have any. And in case it comes up again, panel 3 is not overdrawn.
I thought the same thing Kevin noted about panel 2. I’m just glad he said it first.

It’s going to be a Jetpacks and Time Machines Christmas? Right on. This is a good strip. Looking forward to seeing where the storyline goes.

I think we have to bestow a Master of Antenna Depiction on Mr. Tierney. Honorable mention for Chairs of the Future. Although Adam’s might be a Best of Show.

For a first time seasonal comic. It rocks, totally cool strip.

@Kevin: I don’t know about that… I had him doing some exaggerated shouting in panel two at first, but it didn’t look right… so I toned it down… maybe I toned it down too much.
@me: not schematics so much as various Santa theory paperwork.
@Scott: You and me both. (that’s not true… I have a decent idea where it’s going.)
@brandy: Thanks!
@MJ: As you know, I do what I can.
