Check out the new Cintiq monitor.
As many of you know, I myself work on a cintiq, although I work on a much larger and heavier model than this new one. I have to say, the idea of having a cintiq that I could easily and comfortably hold in my lap is very appealing. In an ideal world, I’d be purchasing this new cintiq and another computer that I could have both cintiqs hooked up to in a multiple monitor configuration so that I could switch between them depending on which is more convenient. I’m not going to do this of course (meaning “yet”), but I am going to check the reviews on this product and dream. (for now)

Jim, apparently you and I are the only ones nerdy enough to get excited about new tech. As my comment on the main Mammals site said, I won’t be a graphic artist much longer, so I don’t think the company will foot the bill for this little beauty. I guess I will have to con my wife into letting me get one by convincing her it goes with the decor or something.
How wrong you could be I checked it out. I just fall in that category of lucky enough to be able to pay attention. Or in layman’s terms “Flat out Broke”
