Sabatical Update
March 19th, 2008I’m not dead… I’m just really busy right now.
Just so everyone knows, the basic plan is as follows:
- Tweak a comicpress 2.1 setup and update wordpress to the latest version on the JP&TM site.
- Get some writing done.
- Return to comic production.
- Set up the new mammal site.
That’s about it. Unfortunately, I don’t have any solid ETAs on any of this yet. I’ve got to talk it over with the other guys… but I’m guessing the panel mammals will wait to relaunch until Jarrett is totally ready to go and hopefully, I’ll be returning to production in early april some time.

Thanks for the update. I know I’m not the only one dying for more JP&TM let alone Some Day Hero and a new ‘mammals site.

I’ll second what Kevin wrote — I appreciate the update, Jim. I’m dying for the return of your strip, the arrival of Jarrett’s new strip, and the re-launch of the Mammals’ main site. Actually, I think I’m most anxious for the return of the main site and the daily blog posts whose perspectives were so much fun to read every day.
I’m glad to hear you’re not dead…get back to producing “Jetpacks” when you can.

Quit teasing us. We all know that Jarrett is no longer with us. He past away in a tragic Jelly Bean, skateboard, one-legged dog accident in late February.
