hey Worth, don't mention it. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, no one likes the scroll... This is interesting because it pretty much puts to rest the notion that comics on the web could be "any size imaginable." Obviously this is sort of true from a technical standpoint, but it seems like it's a matter of what you primarily want the viewer to see and how many of them you want to annoy. For me, the most important aspect is making the title, the comic, and the beginning of the blog visible right away... So I can make a strip in the standard proportion, or maybe compromise slightly and make one that's more like two strips stacked (for sundays or dynamic layouts) but no tall ones.

"... I'll probably have to make my own decision."

As it should be, Jim. As it should be.

I admit that I'm one of those pathetic individuals who wants instant gratification once a webpage loads up. I did a cartoon a few days ago that started as a standard four-panel strip. However, I expanded it to pad the timing, which meant stacking the panels. I hated even scrolling through my own cartoon.

BTW, thanks for including my comic on your links section.

yeah, I've been thinking about shortening up the title bar so that if I make a longer comic, people won't have to scroll down.

Like I posted on the survey...I hate scrolling to read. As long as you can fit it to a screen, I'm happy. Scrolling interupts the precious 20 seconds you have to capture your reader...
