The Best Slightly Sci fi Comic on The Web Gets Some Podcast Action

August 9th, 2007

Do you like nerdery? Do you like audio? Would you like to combine the two? (Probably not if you’re at work.)

Well, if you’re still reading, let me tell you more! Guess who just appeared on the Comics Coast to Coast Podcast? (Don’t guess, that’s rhetorical - It’s me.) We talk about Jetpacks and Time Machines, and about wacom tablets. If you’re not into that stuff, or if you’re secretly afraid of the sound of my voice, then turn back now! Otherwise, ONWARD!

More Spreading of the Word of Jetpacks!

Warning - I talk like I write (which means, it gets both technical and nerdy about comics, so if you don’t like that stuff, you won’t care much for this particular episode.)

I am at work, so it’ll have to wait, but I am dying to hear this podcast. Congrats on the exposure!

  2. JC Says:

Sweet! I’m listening now. I can’t wait to hear your prank calls and Friday Morning Fart Song! *toilet flush button* *”Oh Yeah” button*

  3. jim (JP&TM creator) Says:

Oh man, there were no sound effect buttons employed! I knew it lacked something! No prank phone calls either!

  4. Kevin Says:

Great interview. It’s always good to hear a great cartoonist get some air time, until Jarrett started with the Canadian accent.

  5. Jarrett (Creator of Mandy) Says:

    That wasn’t me…it was Justin.

  6. Scott Says:

That was an excellent interview. Jim is ready for the big time. Check it out, people. It contains a Wacom/Photoshop tutorial too.

  7. jim (JP&TM creator) Says:

Thanks guys. Yeah, it was pretty fun. I’ll have to get on there again some time.

Welcome to Jetpacks and Time Machines

The mildly sci-fi comic about a slightly off cyborg boy named Adam, and his dangerously nerdy friend Fred. Updates on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
