The New Robot (part 2)

The new robot saga continues.

When you’re done reading this, go check out the new Pursuit of Mandy Comic that my buddy Jarrett Posted (I know, I didn’t know if or when he’d start posting comics again either!)

Great art today (not that it normally isn’t, but this one is superb). Adam’s characterizations in each panel are dead-on, the hovering effect is cool, and I gotta say, I like that chair - does it walk?

  2. Doug Says:

    Niiiice!

  3. Scott Says:

Love it! I could hear the electonic voice. Nice.

  4. Worth (unofficial JP&TM editor) Says:

Great job, Jim. Always love your linework.

Hate to do this to you, though. Typo on “sibling.”

  5. Jarrett Says:

Dammit worth. It makes my day to send Jim an email about typo’s. So in short, you stole my made day. I’ll get you.

    Really snappy art on this.

  6. Worth (unofficial JP&TM editor) Says:

    I’ve been a ba-a-a-a-a-a-ad boy.

  7. Wit Says:

Sibliling is a real word. It means “to smother your brother with your left or right ass cheek.”

  8. jim (JP&TM creator) Says:

I don’t know what typo you suckers are talking about (meaning I fixed it)

Thanks worth… I was so focused on spelling ‘obsolescence’ correctly that I missed an obvious misspelling.

@Me: Yeah, I put extra time into trying to get proper facial expressions and body language on this one. As for the chair… we’ll see.

  9. Tawny Says:

I’m an art student trying to get a web comic going with a few friends.
I have to say, your creation notes and work are both helpful and inspirational.

Thanks Tawny, I appreciate the feedback. It can be tricky to get started in comic self publishing (even if just on the internet) but I find that it’s a pretty worthwhile endeavor, and has actually taught me some skills that I’ve been able to transfer over to my day job as well.
