At first I thought that Adam might have pushed Serial, then I decided “Monkeys don’t do snow.” Then I noticed Adam windmilling for balance. The monkey definitely went shusgaboom on his own.

In addition to the obvious coolness of Santoid, (is that you Grandpa?) I liked the hovering ‘bots shining their lights around the place.

@Jarrett: Thanks, that was intentional… I borrowed that from this book on visual film techniques… See, the concept is that Fred is trying to bring Adam around to his point of view… and representative of that struggle is the fact that the characters are walking up hill from left to right which is an unnatural way for the human eye to move, because we’re used to the opposite movement of starting in the upper left and moving to the bottom right. So the idea is that the awkward movement is representative of the struggle with characters and ideas. I swear to god I pulled that from a book, I didn’t just make it up.

I get a lot of flack for noticing small details, but with all the fine detail and techy stuff, I gotta point out that tree at the bottom of panel 1 is perfect from a fine art standpoint. The “light halo” around the floor in the middle is awesome too.
