@me!: Yeah, wit and jarrett have an overly rosy view of sherpa (sorry guys.) Like I said, it's alright, but it the description you read on site about it is a load of crap, and the gocomics site in general is a horrible atrocity on the eyes. I don't mean to trash gocomics, and if that's your thing, then by all means go for it, but I'm just not convinced that it's the surest path to syndication. But I suppose it is cheap advertising if you don't mind the fact that you have to sign a contract with them stating that you'll run any offer you have on your strip by them before accepting it. The best part of that is that they say, "because we've already put so much time and effort into nurturing your talent..." Yeah right. Sherpa is what it is... It just ain't what they pitch it as.

@Wit: yeah, I'm still working grandpa out. He's evolving.

@Scott: puns are fine. Fred doesn't care for them. Stephan Pastis might disagree though, since for years they've been his bread and butter joke.

@Jarrett: I don't know, I thought this one should have been the bigger format for the sake of delivery.

@Kevin: Sure, why not. As long as they know it's Cintiq... Better practice your pronunciation of "wacom" too just to be safe. (I don't know what the correct pronunciation is though.) As for the art... Eh, it's just time put in and practice. I wasn't born with more skill, I've just put in the hours.

The second panel makes me want to hang my head in shame for anything of might that I might have called art. Keep it up, and I expect to hear of the J. Tierney "Cintique" seminars in Vegas. Fans of the mammals do get reduced admission, don't they?

Nice. Great art, great writing. Especially in that second panel. I cracked up at Adam's "Nobody liked the pun?" line.

I like puns more than I care to admit. They can be annoying though. It's all about how they're delivered.

Jim, sorry I've been a little absent...you know the story. Anyway, today's strip is beautiful. I like the contrast between the high-detailed panel 2 and the sparse panels. Grandpa is a scary mother f'er. You should do a close up shot of him in one of your strips just to drive home his horror.

"Oh, come on, nobody liked the pun?"

Perfect!

Like the close-up on evil-grandfather guy too.

Thanks for your input (via Wit's site) on ComicSherpa yesterday, even if he didn't agree with you.
