The zombie jokes continue. In the world of Jetpacks and Time Machines, when I talk about (or when my characters talk about) zombies, they’re the slow-moving, infect you if they bite you type of zombies, not the fast-running super-strong mutant type of zombies. Nothing against those type of zombies, except that I just don’t think they should really be referred to as ‘zombies’.
Creation Notes: I really enjoyed doing that center panel, but in retrospect, I think I could have made Fred stand out a little more maybe. Or maybe not, I don’t know.

I think if the background was a little darker and the ground a different texture that might have helped.
Either way, it’s a good comic and I’m really happy to see Jetpacks & Time Machines back again, congratulations!
@rob: Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I sort of felt that it needed some more variation in that last panel, and almost went back to work on it, but I’d made a new resolution when restarting the strip that I wouldn’t nit-pick every single graphic detail (not because I don’t want to make it look the best it can be, but for logistic reasons, so I won’t get so bogged down in strip production) Thanks again Rob, and I hope you keep reading!
ZOMBIES!!!!
Gives a whole new meaning to the term “ankle biters”!
Wow! The art here is phenomenal! Good work.
@George: Thanks, it use to be quite the obsession of mine, but now i’ve finally gotten the hang of it! Now to work on the writing!
Glad to see JPTM back. I thought the same thing about that middle panel at first but I think it’s okay because no one zombie really stands out ever. They beauty of a horde of zombies is that they aren’t really ever individually the focus. Obsidian at CommissionedComic.com drew a perfect example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/13057592@N05/4019397989/
@LBrown: Now that’s a nice zombie horde! There’s a theadless tee that’s quite similar too:
